I'm reliably informed (well, the voices in my head are *normally* reliable) that the NYC gig on March 6 will have a brand new setlist, an announcement of 3 new singles, a new album, and news that :von: is expecting his first child in July.

Scene: A delivery room in a maternity hospital in Northern germany; 37th hour of labour.
Present: :von:, Mrs. E., midwife, assorted doctors, The Machine That Goes Ping, etc.

:von: is sitting in a corner, doing the Times crossword, smoking
Mrs E. is lying in bed, feet in stirrups
Midwive is at the end of the bed, supervising.

Midwife: "It's crowning, Mrs. Eldritch!"

Cue dry ice and lasers emanating from Mrs. E.'s most private orifice, crashing guitar chords, massed choirs

Midwife: "Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Eldritch! It's a...drummer!"

Four pages and only a couple of real reviews and not one dodgy phone camera picture.
Life's too short people. :P

Back to topic, please.

Thank you.

Here's a little piece of fluff that was in one of the weekly Vegas rags...

http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/2006/02/09/noise.html

There were reports that Ben and Chris hung out after the show but Mr. E. was nowhere to be found...

Also, after sleeping on it, I am convinced that I Was Wrong wasn't played. There definitely was another song in there... I just can't remember.

Andrew didn't say goodbye, farewell or kiss my ass. He took a royal extended bow.

I kind of figured it might have been as this was old news... sorry I didn't check first.

As for the gambling... I did see the boys hovering around the dice tables the day before. I was working on another game so I couldn't greet them. Anyway, they appeared to be in good form.

Damn... I wish I was heading to San Diego right now...

Lo all,

Despite HOB nazis (poor Spencer getting hoofed out in the 1st song & wandings), managed to sneak some poor photos from the cellphone.

Oh, and the cocktails in Red Square were $10 each !!!!

I enjoyed it but not enough smoke or volume for me.

PS. Just taken SIX hours to get here from Vegas after 20 police cars chased some bloke on the 215 and he turned the car over, closing the entire road :-(
Tonight better be good....

Hmmm, does this really mean no recordings from this one?

Hope tonight goes better, though it's at a hob too.
