Both problems should be sorted out now.
Thanks for removing the links. Stuff like that is one of the risks of running a wiki

hallucienate, you have the ip of who changed the main page, so is there any way you can get him banned?
He's completely removed the content of the main page and replaced it with links to viagra sites.
EDIT: I've cleaned up the main page as good as I could, and I think it's pretty close to the original version.

I've banned the IP address now, but I doubt it will make much difference, from the log files it looks like there is a bot that goes around defacing wikisnick the stripper wrote:hallucienate, you have the ip of who changed the main page, so is there any way you can get him banned?

I can also protect the pages that get defaced regularly, but that means only SysOps will be able to edit them Not something I really want to do.

I banned another IP address (another bot?) that was vandalising the Help:Contents page (Dark has been doing a top job of reverting the (presumed) bot's edits.)

I've minutely elaborated informations on how long and how high TSOM have been in the German Top100 and with which songs/albums.
Does anyone care?

Err, did one of the bootlegs as a try a couple of days ago. I used one page which has a link from the bootleg page and the live gigs page...
Tried to ask on there if you thought that was a good idea, but did not get any reactions yet (don't look at the loads of dates I added to the bootlegs page, I'll redo that when I'll continue my work on it)
Oh, and removed some spam too

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Well, I would've done something more about it, but I still was waiting for people to comment if the way I did it was okay

added a mention of Chris Catalyst and a paragraph about the new tour and Ben Christo to the 'Band History' page.

Was gonna add some bits about the cancelled '90 dates (particularly Deinze 15/11 which I found a ticket for tonight).
Have got buckets of useful stuff & factoids floating around - it might as well be put to good use...

On the to-do list (if anyone fancies it):
- Page on Ben Christo
- Page on Jon Langford
- Gigography needs updating to include the current tour
