THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

The God Squad remixes are on Kazaa already...
Kazaa, does that mean anything to you Methy ??
yeah, kazaa is a virus ridden bag 'o' sh*te, tried it once and my firewall/virus protection went fookin crazy, nevermind the amount of mislabelled/fake stuff...
i prefer a higher form of p2p ed2k/overnet for choice, and tend to do quite a bit of direct ftping *whistles innocently*

for the Sisters party in Osnabruck on 19.8.93.
After hearing Under The Knife I have to comment that the recording of the God Squad mixes are really horrible sound quality. Its always a shame that the people with the rare recordings know jack $hit about making a good mp3. I have nice crystal clear mp3's recorded from my cassette (which when cleaned up I could hear was taken from vinyl - that's gotta be one rare record whoever has it.) I can upload the mp3's if someone can donate me some webspace, and then give out the links so everyone can download it.
I upped them to the alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.gothic-industrial newsgroup 2 weeks ago. I can up them again if anyones au fait with newsgroups.

Ooh, I reckon I might be able to spare a few meg! Check your PMs for details. I've actually been searching for these mp3s for a while anyway so you is a star! (http://www.myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1167)
I seem to recall reading in UTR that the remixes were done by either Dave Beer or Charlie Chester btw... Can't remember which and me UTR's are still in the UK, so can anyone confirm that?
Oi Mr Paint it Black: Is that the legendary Paparazzi shot of Von and Rodney Orpheus out on the tiles from Zillo or summat a few years ago? That you is now using for your avatar? Strange how I've never seen shadeless pics before the last six months, now they're turning up everywhere

I was just admiring it myself this morning. groovy.
Does anyone have UTR7 btw? Apparently that's where the God Squad remixes article was. As my UTR7 is thousands of miles away would appreciate it muchly if someone could post the info from the article on here. I remember it was released on Junk Rock records, cat no JUNK001, but not much else.
