I bought a second hand copy of this today because it has backing vocals by one Andrew Eldritch. Does anyone have any info on his appearance on this record. Which tracks he did? How it came about?
It also has vocals by Ozzy Osborne on a couple of tracks.

"Blood Of Emeralds", last track on the album. It's all very shouty, his voice isn't very distinct.Gary wrote:or was it blood of emeralds..
hmm, something like that
anyway, off to practice guitar again

yup, the chorus consists the words "blood of emeralds" being shouted a whole lot by a few people. It's very possible that one of them is Von, I just can't hear his voice in there.Gary wrote:is their a chorus with some backing vocals? if so thats eld.. but i could be very wrong
but then i did remember the track name right.. so who knows.
That said I've only listened to the record once, and don't really wanna listen to it again.

hmm i guess that if it says in the cd sleeve "background vocals by andrew eldritch" it's gotta be him. what are the chances of another guy having the same name...?
AE is far in the distance on the title track too.
I seem to remember him saying in an interview that he was doing something at the same studios & Gary Moore asked if he'd be on his record- he was just pleased to be asked, so he did.
