Given the popularity of the Don't look back series of concerts last year and this year, how about the SISTERS performing First and Last and Always in its entirety, the Stooges performed Funhouse last year which was an awesome show. You can but dream!

Dunno... Pink Floyd used to do that a lot. It's okay if you're really fond of the album. Otherwise it can be really boring and predictable.
The Cure trilogy DVD (Pornography/Disintegration/Bloodflowers) was fine, but it also means they didn't play A forest, Faith, From the edge...

i have been thinking about this possibility too - it has become increasingly common for artists to perform classic albums in their entirety.
bowie did 'low' at the meltdown festival at the south bank a few years back & i saw the sparks in london last month perform their new album from start to finish in the first half of the show, and followed it with a greatest hits set.
so i'd like to see the sisters at the south bank (for added artistic cred) perform the following set:
gift
<interval>
floodland
i've always thought of these two album as companion pieces & it would be great to hear them live back-to-back!

Sounds like a bad idea to me but I'd go and see it of course!
The Bowie Meltdown thing was weird - the Low stuff just didn't sound right, he even monkeyed with the order of the songs once he realised.

Sure about that? They played more than what's on the DVD....Badlander wrote:The Cure trilogy DVD (Pornography/Disintegration/Bloodflowers) was fine, but it also means they didn't play A forest, Faith, From the edge...
Which line up would the people want? The "classic" First & Last one or the new, more rocking one? Nice idea but I can never see Eldritch doing it, even if he was offereed pots of cash. Judging by the current sets they're playing we're only getting one or so tracks from First & Last.
We'd more than likely see the Vision Thing set!

The only encore I know of consisted in The kiss and If only tonight... I probably could find the answer somewhere there :

Only I don't have the time right now. And the point remains that, all in all and IMHO, the 2000 tour set lists were more exciting than these three albums in a row.

I don't think it would be a good idea for the Sisters to do this. It smacks of career-resurrection desperation to me.
And the last thing the Sisters should do is rest on "past glories".
Maybe one for Paddy and the boys though?
