does anyone know if there's a way to save/record a digital radio-broadcast as it plays back?
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Absent adequate merb-scurfing apparatus (merb-proof suit, flashlight, boots with your name painted on them), the easy way to do it is to take a regular stereo cable and hook it up between your speaker port and your line-in port on the sound card. Then use any recording software (MusicMatch, Creative, etc.) to record it. Remember not to hook it to your mic input, though, else you'll get feedback that will have your cat bouncing off the walls in an effort to escape (trust me, Siouxsie Boots always gives me that "oh sh*t" look every time I start footling around on the back panel...)
