Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

I can only take one genius band per night, these days

So you'd rather not have JRGW supporting someone else then?James Blast wrote:I can only take one genius band per night, these days

I saw them in 1998 (by accident) and they hadn't got much better! All my friends rave about them but I don't get it.Badlander wrote: I saw Foo Fighters live in 96. Gawd they were crap.

It was a summer festival Bowie was headlining. Didn't want to miss that for the world, so I stuck to the front row. 10 straight hours under the rain, and I had to endure the pain of that s**t gig. No wonder I hate Dave Grohl (and Foo Fighters fans alike).Brideoffrankenstein wrote:I saw them in 1998 (by accident) and they hadn't got much better! I saw the Foo Fighters when they supported Ozzy and Sabbath at Milton Keynes. While I'm not a fan by any means, I did feel a bit sorry for them, what with everyone (and I mean everyone) chanting Ozzy! Ozzy! all through their entire set.

They had no such problem in 96. Hords of out-of-control teens kept screaming "Dave Grooooohl !!!"markfiend wrote:I saw the Foo Fighters when they supported Ozzy and Sabbath at Milton Keynes. Oooh that was the gig I went to! I was far more interested in the mexican wave going around the entire place than in the bloody Foo Fightersmarkfiend wrote:I saw the Foo Fighters when they supported Ozzy and Sabbath at Milton Keynes.
