Wan fur the Weegies - How dae yew eat yoors?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

From today's Glasgow Herald:

Glasgow's new band venue, the ABC in Sauchiehall Street, never bothered with a cigarette machine, which is why so many customers beg the stewards to allow them to nip outside to the newsagents'.

As the stewards don't have a re-entry stamp, and to distinguish them from those who have not yet paid, they ask the smokers to produce a Cadbury's Creme Egg on their return.

With hundreds of Creme Eggs piling up, the stewards are determined to reach 1000 before Easter. They will then don ate the eggs to Yorkhill Sick Kids Hospital.

That's stewards for you, hard on the outside but soft on the inside - bit like a Creme Egg really.

 Anyone here get that at the Baw-hoose gig? :innocent:

If I was Scouse I'd no doubt respond with some witty local slang. As I'm not, I think I'll just take the stabbin' like a man

Seriously, I'm on the wrong side of the Mersey, speak more like a Southerner and wouldn't have a clue how to remove your wheels, never mind have the strength to put the vehicle up on bricks. I guess I'm not a very good Scouser ;)

And Lee's not a Weegie either...:innocent:

Don't you mean the servants do the stabbing, while you 'upper crust' retire to the drawing room for canapes, and watch the events on CCTV?
