introducing kazamel

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

another newbie here at the heartland club.
i live in belgium which is in fact an excellent place to be a sisters fan (lots of bootlegs, free sisters gigs, long playlists, ...). been a fan since 1991, but into nappies more than records lately. so i no longer have the time to be the big freak i used to be, but i have to admit the magic 's still there. :notworthy:
i arrived at this forum searching for the lokeren bootleg (which was an excellent performance), so as for any newbie you can guess the weeding section looks like a candy store to me. but don't worry, i'll lay low for a while to avoid looking to eager
it won't harm to list my sisters collection here as well (pretty impressive in my village when we were teens once :D ). i should however check my cassettes to maybe find a worthy addition to the weeding section.
cheers

thx for the warm welcome guys
and to round up this little introduction, these are the gigs where i was present:
1993 July 24 --- Zeebrugge (a nice day at the beach part 1  )
1996 July 14 --- Offenbach (some stuff i'd never heard live before, or at least not in these versions)
1997 July 12 --- Dour (this one i liked pretty much)
1998 January 26 --- Brussels (wowie! :urff:  )
1998 August 8 --- Neerpelt (pretty good i guess, don't really remember it though)
2003 April 16 --- Deinze (no comment :?  )
2005 August 8 --- Lokeren (yeppie, needed that one!)
now i notice i've only saw them twice in a non-festival setting. pretty lousy for someone who calls himself a fan, but then again, their opening acts are usually not the world's greatest bands either... :D
