Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....
Smokie is an old band with waning popularity, incessantly touring smaller venues, churning out the same old songs year after year.
They had a huge hit with "Living Next Door to Alice" in 1976. A staple among second-rate pub bands and troubadours with attitude problems and poor impulse control.

UTR X (May 1994) goes into a bit more detail on this one:
"Fender Telecaster, mustard: Again inherited from Tim [Bricheno], although I don't like telecasters. They sound too tinny for my taste, and I don't like the look of them at all. They're uncomfortable on the lap, as the bodies don't have chamfered edges like the stratocaster, which is much easier on the thigh and forearm. Moreover, there is nothing to be said for a mustard-colour guitar. Yet another example of guitar players deciding that they don't after all like what they've bought with your money. Thanks Tim."
