A shout out and a bit of a razzy to all you kiddies who didn't join Eva, Andrew, Spencer (some of the sweetest, most personable folks I've ever met, by the way) and me downstairs at Smart Bar afterwards: you missed meeting a couple o' Warlocks and the gallant Ben as well. :P

Update: I just uploaded 8 rather-crappy pix from last night (the rest were far crappier); feel free to point and laugh. If the link doesn't work, please let me know. Enjoy (or not)! :P :von:

It was an awesome show, regardless of what some of the hecklers said after the show to Chris and Ben. Those two are a wonderful edition to the Sisters, and a couple of nice blokes as well. And to delirium74, I was right next to you guys on your left, and glad your daughter had fun. Always good to raise your children right with good tastes in music. :)

i agree...i think chris might be the best thing that's happened to this band in years. and i was very skeptical.

it's agreed - pearson quit this band ten years too late...

and to delirium74, your kid is lucky. my friend troy took his nine year old to see green day, poor little bastard...

It was from a guy in bar next to the Metro when I was shyly hanging out with the two of them to get autographs (which I did). Yelling that the sound sucked, that they needed a drummer (which I responded they haven't had one for 24 years), and that the Sisters were only good when Wayne was in the band. I hate to say it, but Chris and Ben are awesome, and brought new life to some of the songs. They won't be with the Sisters forever, but I look forward to trying to follow their careers.

Yes, I was. Though rocking is a kind word, given that I have absolutely no sense of rhythm. But I had bought Just Like Surgery to listen to before the concert, so I recognized some of their music. Plus they aren't bad, though musically not the best warm up for the Sisters, but I did enjoy them.

I was there until the Sisters finished. Saw your daughter get her autograph by Chris. And in regards to being on here, I had actually forgotten I was, until today.

On the whole the reviews seem to be getting better and better so I guess the early tour 'jitters' are behind them now - i am also very glad to hear the positive comments on the new guys, it seems like we finally have a band again.

counting down the days till May.....

Excellent show, excellent hangover. I got to meet Chris at Clark Street at Sheffield when he was probably going to Medusa's Circle to buy that awesome shirt honouring my avatar ;D

I was afraid to have a mediocre sound courtesy of Mr. Christo, but I agree, he's doing good to the Sisters. I don't know if it was alcohol or excitement, but yesterday was one of the shortest concerts in my life... everything flashed in a second. For some strange reason I missed Slept, On The Wire and Will I dream (Yes, I know) but I don't really care because it was a majestic show played with balls (avoid the easy jokes). I am delighted after experiencing how these Sisters sound like and I just hope they're not lazy enough to offer us our well deserved "new album".

To anyone who's still skeptical or something and they want Adam or Mike Varjak in the band: They already gave us unforgettable moments, so let them Rest In Peace and add new blood to the machine. You should definitely go to see them or you will regret while you get rotten watching Desperate Housewives. Don't tell me I didn't warn you. Now I'm already counting the days to see them in Spain, but that's a diffeent story in a different planet :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I was actually hoping for stuff like Gimme Shelter, Adrenochrome, SKoS/CN, and a host of others (that may never be played out again), but I ain't complaining.
