Has anyone ever heard???

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

St. Patrick's Day Sisters question.

Has anyone ever heard/seen The Sisters of Murphy?

Are they a parody or serious?

For all I know there just a leprechaun ( Andy 0'Eldritch) with a big
shamrock standing on a drum machine> The green on black.

Maybe. Maybe some of us have seen them. Maybe they play live at every HL weekender. Maybe even one of them is a Moderator on here. Just maybe.

Yes, but being of the "Mike is always wrong" persuasion, I thought BoF's response was the one he was looking for, which would have made my post rather silly ;D

the smurphs are awesome. i'll say this (again): if you close your eyes it could almost be the sisters.

parody? not at all.
respectful irreverant reverance (or respectful reverant irreverance)? totally.
:von:
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.

"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
