Name that band

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Easy Cure, but that was before they became The Cure. They dropped the "Easy" because they thought it sounded old fashioned.
And that pic is most certainly from 1982.

 As for the antipodeans: nope, they were New Wavers all the way, I'd say (though their really old stuff *did* have a dark edge to it). The Front = EBM. In fact, they're the founding fathers! ;D

AHA! Ok, I *knew* I'd heard of Fatima Mansions - "Blues for Ceaucescu" (sp?)
got played on MTV's 120 Minutes back in the early 90s, if I recall correctly...

Thanks, Scotty! :)

And no cheating with the right-click!
