The Reptile House Petition

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Zoon is an fantastic metal album. Tons heavier than most things that pass for heavy these days
Thats my problem with it;Metal. To be fair it was well ahead of its time and I think Cradle of felch probably have listened to it a great many times but, personally I lost interest in thrash after Dorian left Napalm death

In regards to SSV everyone has to admit that :von: is amazingly talented to be able to make something that BAD when also being able to make music that is so good! It takes a certain type of genius I'm sure to make something that terrible....then decide its still not bad enough and so decide to remove the drums!

In regards to sisters merchandise how about a sisters egg cup and breakfast cereal, little bits of crunchy wheat in the shape of the merciful release  ;D

That was a genius move. :notworthy:
He obviously was also afraid those suckers at East West might find a way to market it.

It does take a certain type of genius. But that genius wasn't Eldritch, he didn't write the songs, lyrically or musically.

How about we dress Badlander's harem in pink, tight and short t-shirts, MR stars on each shoulder, back text "where dreams descend"? Now THAT would be.... ahum.... moving.

I personally wouln'd mind smoking MR cigarettes - dunno if any of you have ever seen those "black death" packs... I thought they were groovy.

Well, I wasn't too keen on Drugsar, that being the first I heard, but when I'd downloaded them all, I found I quite liked it. I'm not so keen on "Two In The Nose" and "Go Figure" though.

5 to go Andy, ah the joys of having a medical condition :|
all that happens is, I get the lease for the leaky room over some chemist's place, in Leeds, in the grim grey early 80s

Still got all my tees, but the prints are fading badly...

Still got the Midnight Chrome zippo...but it's been repaired more than once. The lid is held on with superglue and a prayer. So a shiney new one would be nice.
