Eldo had the beard back in 1984 when Wayne joined the band. upon his return from s. america, the UK press were quick to liken him to Jim Morrison, Patty's dad. ;D

I agree! I think he looks fine with a beard. Better possibly. Whilst watching this video drunk some time back all I could think about was Patsy with the beard & Von with that rats nest she has on her head. I found it uncontrollably hilarious. I was very very drunk.

I've seen piccies of Von from both periods, and while I have nothing against beards (ooh er missus) he always looked suspicious
As for Pat, it was always about the image regardless of how much it was downplayed. Was it just coincidence she looked so.....................................................................................................................................GOTHIC?

Agreed! I am currently growing / cultavating a "Goatee" - which is nice and has its uses :wink:

Then again I expect it will be gone by the time of the meet up in July !

As an aside does anyone how I would go about downloading that video? It seems I can only send the link to it via email!
