After all train is the best way to travel from Rome to Forence an Milano (and back).
Too bad the Saschall in not really ta the centre on town or near the station (and it's an euphemism since is quiet on the city border).
This should't be a problem going to the show (with city bus) but surely is coming back; i don't think that there will be pubblic trasport except for taxi - or hitchhiking.
Usually italian shows are non so diligent with the time show start, but in this venue they are almost on time (21.30 - 21.45).
Anyway the ticket report 21.00 so maybe it's better to be there in time (at least there will be time for a bear...).
At Saschall there must be a curfew time 'cause the show never goes to much after 11.30PM.
see you!

And how was it? Setlist please... I'm waiting patiently for Good Things to appear so I can get my tickets for the UK dates...

Just came back from Florence... The show was OK, not the best one I've seen... The sound was really bad at the start, hardly any guitars... They started with Crash and burn, then Ribbons, don't remember the full setlist, but my fav songs that night were Giving Ground, Suzanne, Temple Of Love, Lucretia, Summer, This Corrosion... Von sounded OK, he was not in talkative mood, said grazie a couple of times. He was nowhere to be seen after the gig (we saw him in disguise before the gig though), Ben and Chris were more than happy to socialise...
Setlist Firenze.......

He is keeping his voice for Paris
Oh... I forgot! There was a lot of smoke, so if you sat at the balcony you could not see anything! At some point when they were playing I was wrong there was so much smoke that the fire alarm went off! Hilarious!
And I never saw so many bootleg T-Shirts as outside of that venue. Some were actually quite good, but some... OMG- pink shirts, green shirts, purple shirts, badly spelt name shirts (Sister Of Mercy)!!!

Yes....what's new about it?Methedrome wrote:What exactly constitutes This Corrosion as being a 'new version'?
Boot shirts? Sister Of Mercy? OMG
"Burn" will be played in Paris again! There have been quite some fires in their "Reptile House" this year...

Fist time I saw Sisters in my town (and second time ever - after Zurich 2005)
the venue wasn't full, but it's hard to stuff teh Sashall without a new cd or video on MTV...
the smocke was enough (sometime you could hardly see the guitarist), voice was at high level even if not too loud, but the tour is long to be finished.
Too bad for the lack of FALAA but I really enjoyed This corrosion.
Only fault, the show lenght: only 1h15' for 30€ (that's the only reproach I've heard from the audience - afetr that you could't see the drummer

1h15min it's a time for a festival concert ! (ever lokeren was longer last year !)
I've got some tickets for paris esch bruxelles koln and amsterdam...and I'm afraid !!!!!
There unfortunately has to be a time limit : certainly isn't used to 52-date-long tours. You don't want him to wear out before Paris, do you ?
I'd end this moment to be with you

If you're right, I may kiss you Scardy. Just remember to point me in the direction of the stage when they start playing it.Scardwel wrote:Leeds seems most likely.lachert wrote:if they trying sister ray on soundchecks, one gig will have endless encore but which one...

As much as I want it to be Sweden (if just once) I would also put most of my money on Brussels. And Glasgow of course - at least I would feel a reason to celebrate if I had finished a 53-date tourradiojamaica wrote:nah... it will be Brussels... againScardwel wrote:Leeds seems most likely.lachert wrote:if they trying sister ray on soundchecks, one gig will have endless encore but which one...
