I am sooooo jealous !"!!!
I only got to see The Mode when Von supported them back in July 93 and have always wanted to se them again!
When oh When is the Cardiff Millenium Stadium going to attract more "rock" bands other that bloody Bon Jovi - i am sure the Mode could fill it!

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"
I saw 'em last night - they sounded fantastic. Makes a nice change to see a band who can balance a lot of sequenced stuff with live instruments and still get a good mix
And Walking in My Shoes & Shake The Disease were top.
Wembley (never nice anyway) is backwards now which was gently f**king with my head all night long

I saw them last month (which was my 3rd DM gig). didn't expect much (after seeing Sisters in the US 6 times quite recently before that). my first impression was - well, those guys (Gore and Gahan) ar really weirdoes. then... have to say, it was a really good gig, maybe better than the last one I had seen (2001 or whenener it was).
PS Martin Gore was again very drunk (wearing again a ridiculous hat) the night before the concert in local Depeche Mode Bar. this time I didn't meet him (as the last time, standing by the toilet door ). I wasn't in the bar the night before the show but people showed me pictures

There is a dingy basement bar in Tallinn, Estonia, exclusively devoted to the band, playing nothing but their videos and music. Amid the memorabilia on display is a pic of Martin Gore visiting the bar, looking suitably terrified.

I saw them at the NEC this year. Thought they were a bit by the numbers. But the new stuff was great and they played Behind The Wheel which never fails to move the parts...
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.
