Someone paid £120 for a pair on ebay last week! Supply and demand!

As much as I hate scalpers, £41 is still not that much.

Am watching a current auction...the price keeps climbing. Damn it, might have to bite the silver bullet.

Else I'll be seen outside the venue stalking somebody so I can club them for their ticket.

Auctions for a pair of tickets have so far finished at £120.00 and £102.00 respectively. As more and more appear on ebay the price will drop but £80.00 (a pair) is probably the norm for sold out gigs on ebay.

Unless you're a Pearl Jam fan of course. :urff:

Or a Radiohead one.

(There seems to be a campaign against Radiohead scalpers going on)

 And why not?

Though why the seller doesn't just remove the bids as they appear (he/she has total control) and therefore deprive them of their 'publicity' escapes me.

It's always a fine line between scalping for profit or simply attempting to recover your outlay as your plans have changed. Bearing in mind that you can sometimes buy tickets up to three months in advance of the actual gig date.

It's not that fine a line IMHO. Just sell the tickets at face value and everything's okay. You get back your money and no one gets pissed off and/or robbed. I really, truly, deeply hate scalpers ! :urff:
