London ticket has no mention of a support band... still about shakey about that "age restriction" though...

True enough young chap. But you have to admit, a gig from The Girls on top of meeting and getting p1ssed with the finest this planet has to offer (even the leeds and scouse fans ) is about as good as it gets.Motz wrote:I don't think you're giving the experience of a Heartland meet the credit it deserves. But you're quite right
I have been away long time. Can't find is there a thread about Warlocks? I quite liked them live, bought their CD, finally even another CD by them and... didn't like very much to listen to them at home. Now my friend who has been a a member of several indie pop bands since 90s or so, listens to theose CDs. He has plenty of time to do it But - as I said - I really enjoyed them all 6 times before Sisters

This is an opinion based on no facts whatsoever apart from prior experience, although it was, ulp, a long time ago...
Chucking another log on
As long as you are over 16 you are fine, although under 18s should be accompanied by an adult. I've taken my son to the Astoria when he was 14 with no problems for age restricted gigs. I expect the door staff generally can't be arsed to check ages though.robertzombie wrote:London ticket has no mention of a support band... still about shakey about that "age restriction" though...
You beat me to that one Dan, maybe we all get to join in one song eachDan wrote:The ticket for Leeds says "Plus Special Guests".Brideoffrankenstein wrote:My ticket for Norwich UEA says "plus support" at the bottom

Negotiations have been concluded. Dispatches from the war room should be on their way in the next day or three. Watch that space.

I've walked into the astoria alone around the age of 14! They have those same age restrictions for HIM gigs, think of all the underage people at them!Donald wrote:As long as you are over 16 you are fine, although under 18s should be accompanied by an adult. Headlines and deadlines prevent such situations I'm afraid.Obviousman wrote:Makin' me curiousChairman Bux wrote:I know something you don't know. I know something you don't know.

More than glad enough to see the Sisters all by themselves too
My interpretation is... a support act has been organised for the uk dates. The "ones for the boys" suggests we might have some nice girlies to look at.TheGoodSon wrote:Eh?I know something you don't know. I know something you don't know.

To support The Sisters?
Can you imagine the lighting rig you'd need to do the proper deal for both bands?

Yes I can. And it's lovely. And shiny. And would just about fit into Soldiers Field at Roundhay Park.markfiend wrote: To support The Sisters?
