Time for a little review of my own...
The first thing I should say is that I don't really remember a lot of things from the gig... Who made me driiiiiiink ??...bref. With two days left I tell myself that the gig was as good as Bauhaus' one, is its proper style : As doktor A told me after the show : they've always been distant from the public (even in their recordings you can feel you will never touch them) so that I can't really blame them for not being careful for the public in front of them...
I did not hear some songs I wanted to hear... that is the bad point, but finally I think that I will soon remember only everything which was great that night...
The This Corrosion bootleg extract is wonderful... Doktor A I think I will soon come to Paris and steal all your discs from you... In the meantime : thanks a lot for this extract and for everything else...

Ha ha ha AnOceanOfJoyAndFreedom you really made me laugh after the show "finally I found doctoravalanche", it was cool to meet you, and from the recording you can see that the show was not as bad as so many people seem to say or complain

Yes it's international and I think burp is certainly the only international word people could understand from me that night...You know, "burp", much like "beer", is quite international.
The good thing is that I know now that my drunk english way of speaking is better than my drunk german one.

What does "Ca me gêne pas" mean?
Also, what merch did they have, did they have plenty of it, and what were the prices like? same as the other EU shows?

I'm reliably informed it means 'It doesn't bother me' (or something like that.robertzombie wrote:What does "Ca me gêne pas" mean?

Yup.Hom_Corleone wrote: I'm reliably informed it means 'It doesn't bother me' (or something like that.
Quite a nice selection of tees. They didn't have any 2006 long sleeves left. They did have f**k me and marry me young, Militant sex machine, Sisters gegen nazis and a couple others (at least 3 other). No People's republic IIRC. They all were 25€, 30€ long sleeves.
Plus some really ugly boot tees outside the venue (red with blue sleeves and old logo).

Listening to the bootleg, I have just figured out that on the beginning of Dominion Andrew says to the crowd "vous êtes très gentils" (= you are very nice)

Yeah really sweet Andrew is
One of the highlight of the show for our french audience was "Alice", then the small venue went mad, jumping everyhwere, singing loud, you can hear on the recording how good the atmosphere was:

ps: thanks for the Mp3s docteravalanche.
The show in Paris was really good. The venue was great, the audience as well and everything was ok. But in my opinion it wasn´t as special as it was supposed to be. I mean it was special because it was the first time the band played in France, and people from all over Europe ( and the rest of the world probably ) were there. Sisters Europe fans enjoyed the show very much and French audience also had a good time. Setlist was similar than the Italian tour, but may be "Burn" and "Vision Thing" missing for an important date. I think the show was really good but it also was in Madrid and in any other places.
Anyway I enjoyed myself, I spent a good time in ParÃs and it was nice to meet any heartland members.
