Wonderful! In all honesty, Jos took most of the photos under my orders. He must have had a blast taking them as he has other women's email addresses too....czuczu wrote:I'm using one of the the outside Zenith pics for my work wallpaper - I didn't realise we were all being watched from behind the bushes!MadameButterfly wrote:You are welcome so much!doctoravalanche wrote: Wonderful, thank you so much, yeah I will use the clickies

Now I'm confused!
I'm sure the photo that czuczu is refering to has Obviousman standing with his back to us?

If that's the one, I'm standing next to Pat, had to look a while too myself.

You're much more likely to get a response if you post in the "trade" section.snowey wrote:Finally finished transfering the minidiscs over tonight so if anybody wants to trade for shows from the current tour then feel free to PM.
Especially since this boot is already being weeded like crazy.

For your information :
I was looking for reviews of the Paris gig but unfortunately couldn't find any. What I did find though are two short articles which were published prior to the show, one in Libération, which is a major daily that occupies a left wing position much like The Guardian (but with a tad more humour), and the other in 20 minutes, a free daily.
So clicky and clicky again.
Nothing groovy. The Libération article includes a bit of historical facts and also a comparison to Nine inch nails.
Both let you think that "hits" such as Body and soul are going to get played (too bad) and the 20 minutes thing indicates that the girls are going to release an album as soon as they get a new contract. Looks like some journalists didn't do their homework.

Nothing that eventful I'm afraid. To cut a long story short, I got to the venue late (missed the first 3 songs) and had to leave during the second encore when I had one of my erm "turns" shall we say...snowey wrote: PS Where were you Scardy?? I have evens on you copping off with the air stewardess and Mrs S has 3/1 on you getting "finger" treatment at customs.
But for what it's worth I thought the show was great.
Hamburg was also great, even with the slightly scaled-down lightshow (still amazing though).
The Malmo gig last night was just o.k, but 3 mindblowing gigs in a row is too much to ask I guess.
Going to Brussels seems a really good idea now, if I'm sure I'll get in...
The Scene won't save you...

My time finally to give my comment about the gig, etc.
After arriving safely @ CDG we had the first interruption, e.g a suspect suitcase in a metrostation, no riots in la cité d´amour but at least a bombthread -
Meeting torch from poison-door @ the reception exactly when we arrived, hooking up with Johnny, PIB and Lucien ( how great for him first sisters gig ever)
Meeting Eva, Helen and Andrew S, Christian W and Christian P aka as Artfuck from vicus site @ the soundcheck,
@ Andrew S: hopefully the nephew did a good job with taking care of the cat -
How difficult it was to get some food, but how nice to see the dutch and belgian branch of our heartland before the gig- (Debs, Jos, Christophe, my phonefriend Ozpat and Zeno – charming concerning my missus
Fortunately bumping into Mrs – to be-Briggs- and our Führer representing -
The gig itself was good on has been commented on enough IMO –
The only thing I found that the French people surrounding us gave us these weird looks when we were singing along to the “new songs
Von was in a good mood as mentioned before but wasn´t that talkative as expected
Aftergig: nice to have had a couple of beers with you fellow HL`ers
@ the fab Mrs Snowey : the Smiths song that we talked about is called what she said
sorry not to move on with you guys on to the next pub but missus and myself we´re totally exhausted from the days before hitting Paris
@ the cybergodfather of Amélie and Charlotte: brother in my heart – always a pleasure to see you and as it seems we won´t ever see the sisters in one of our homecountries – or maybe we shall someday soon –
and how strange and funny in a city of millions to bump into Jo and QB again the next mornig
hopefully you found a place with strong tea – you certainly looked like you needed some
That´s all folks - and see you in cologne

Hi there Heartlanders!
I'm that new guy on the forum^^
Just to say that I've been waiting for more than 20 years to see them play in Paris, and that I wasn't disappointed at all, in fact I was overwhelmed^^! (on the contrary of some snobbish french oldschoolers who would recognise themselves on some other TSOM forum)
Just can't wait for the next one^^

I don't think it's an old school vs new school thing. We do have some old timers around here...
Plus I think one can appreciate all the band's periods.

I consider myself one! (oldschooler) ... but I understand that no band ever lasts as long without some lineup change, and this is not the case of the people I was writing about earlier. They regret the 85's, and sadly stay close minded to any soud evolution of the band....
