I originally did solo stuff, but that made gigging difficult, so I amassed a collective of musicians now known as Venn. We play something between Weird and Wonderful and God Awful. Someone called it Psychadelic Emo-Goth, others have likened it in places to Martin Gretsch, Shriekback and Joy Division. Sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't. That's the listener's job anyway.
Because of the way the band was formed, I'm largely responsible for composing this dirge - the others take my incomprehensible ramblings and convert it to something listenable through the magic of these things called instruments. My main role in bring said dirge to life is to sing and play second guitar, keyboard or whatever exotic instrument we've got a preparatory grade part for in the song in question.
Performance wise, we're probably not tight enough to gig yet, but we're getting there and we have had offers of support slots on the strength of the recordings we've done (which have also got me engineering work) and should be playing in the summer

The Ramones anthology CD booklet wrote: In LA everybody got laid like rabbits. Same in London. We played there for the first time on July 4, 1976, while in America they were celebrating the Bicentennial. Outside the Round House during soundcheck, these cool-looking guys were hanging around. They said they were a band called The Clash, but that they were still just rehearsing and didn't feel they were virtuosic enough to play in public.
"Are you kidding ?" said Johnny. "I hope you're coming tonight. We're lousy. We can't play. If you wait until you can play, you'll be too old to get up there. We stink, really. But it's great."

Note how I said tight enough. Not tight. But enough
That and we're 17, not 25
The Donnas started at age 14. The whole world thought they were crap as f**k. Go figure. I just love them.

My band is called Tierkreis. The whole feel of the band is that we want to give you an anger-fuelled, yet calm, headfuck.
The music can vary from fairly calm techno to feedback experiments. We've been called electronica, industrial, gothic, the lot. I prefer the second one, because nobody can quite agree whether we are or not.
I personally write the songs, using a sequencer and VST instruments. I also sing and do all the production.
We've not played live (we came close, but had to pull out). When we are, we'll hopefully prove a pleasant alternative to the punk scene of our city.
The website has a radio edit of a song from our first EP called "Harm". It's not quite like our new sound, but hopefully within the next few weeks, we should have a song called "Project MKULTRA" from our new EP up.

I’ve been in a couple bands.
One split up over ‘creative differences’ and the other I left because they weren’t willing to play live. Playing live id one of the two main things I enjoy about being in a band, the other is writing and playing our own songs, which we rarely did.
I’m currently in the search of a band.

My band is called The Drowning Season. We play guitar oriented gothic rock. I write the songs, program the music and sing. We play live when we can, but there's not allot of places that feature live goth rock bands in our area. We've opened for The m*****n UK, The Cruxshadows, Stromkern, Gene Loves Jezebel, Assemblage 23, Penis Flytrap, The Deep Eynde, The Last Dance, Voltaire, and many others. Here's the weblinks:
