Does anybody know if there be any artwork for the SSV album on CD.
I have seen the cass. sleeve.
Was it only released on Tape, if released is the correct word anyway.

Thanks

Copy, Paste, Refresh.

I think it has a problem with HL being the referrer (anti-bandwidth stealing).

So excuse my ignorance but was only released as a bootleg because it looks like a boot cover?

TSOM official site wrote:East West have not released the SSV album, but they did send tapes to the press. One copy landed on the internet, so you could pick the album up for free, in MP3 format. Maybe you still can, but of course we wouldn't be allowed to give you the URL if we knew it. We don't think the record's worth downloading, anyway.
I might add that if you were unwise enough to buy that thing you got robbed.
All known versions, including CD and tape bootlegs, are from that MP3 recording that somehow made its way onto the Internet. :von:

Still TSOM official site wrote:Beware the bootlegs on the net, which are just bad (and expensive) copies of the MP3s leaked from East West.

So is there a definitive answer to the source of the recording, is it a contract cop out, is it a friend helping a friend, i've read everything i have found and none of it convinces me.

I do apologise if this is old ground but i've only just got back on the net.

Thanks

Can anyone point me in the right direction to track down a copy of this again? I downloaded it from the official website when it was first posted but I've lost the files somewhere along the way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It's such a shame that this pile of poo is AE's last recorded output.

I would love to receive that PM too. Had it and lost it, hey that sounds like tSoM album. Or more like The m*****n? LOL!

...although to be honest it doesn't sound like a tSoM album. I gave it to a friend of mine, professional audiologist (apparently you can get paid for this - wish someone had told me before I became a quantity surveyor) who handed it back and said "I don't know what this is but I fed it through our software. The closest thing it came up with was, 'imagine, right - imagine if you went out and drank 193 pints of someone else's fermented vomit, a jeroboam of well-matured urine, consumed 3 pelican phaals, a kebab on the way home, and passed out on the sofa with a half-eaten bag of prawn crackers on your chest. With me so far? Right, you wake up at 4 in the morning with a mouth like Gandhi's flipflop and your guts attempting to make an emergency exit out your starfish. You leg it to the bog, drop trou, and not a moment too soon. The sound, right, the sound your arse just made, coupled with the reverb caused by the porcelain speaker into which your entire universe was excreted - imagine that sound, yeah? Right - that's still a better sound than this album."

Now, true it is that the software was coded by a welshman (who, as you know, are genetically predisposed to have more acute hearing than civilised people on account of them having to sing from valley to valley since phones and the internet haven't yet made their way to that part of the world*), which would certainly account for some of the syntax (I also omitted some of the 'boyo's and 'look you's), and perhaps the analogy is too sophisticated to be understood by us mere mortals who don't get paid for listening to things to "boop boop beeeeeep", but it's safe to say that SSV is a tSoM album in much the same way my cat is the 15th century Florentine explorer and navigator Amerigo "Country Full Of Tw@s Who Should Never Have Been Allowed Near Hard Shoes, Let Alone A Polling Booth" Vespucci, winner of the All-Italy Pole-Dancing Championships (1474, 5, & 7) and reputed father of half the bastards in the parish (only one element of this description applies to both Amerigo and Bertie the Whiskery Big Bollocked Furry Bastard of Bastard Acres).

*sarcasm, obviously. I like the Welsh - some of my best friends are 2nd-cousins to leeks - although I'd not want a close family member marrying one of them for fear that some jug-eared tax-dodging layabout who shows up to open food banks in a fucking limo might come round my gaff and say "I'm Prince of Wales, you know, so you need to pay me to cross your own driveway because it's on my land. Count yourself lucky you're not a charity or a primary school, because then you'd be truly fucked."
