Seeing as a few of us have tattoos on here, why not show 'em off.
A few of mine.

Oooh yes, that's a worry of mine - but you do see more and more good ones that stay properly black. I'm sure someone here will know...scotty wrote:Can you get Tattoo ink that stays Black, all the Tat's I've seen go that Green colour?
*sigh*... anyone else really missing Lee?
I want two tattoos... a compass rose on my right shoulderblade, and a very simple band round the top of my left arm - just a plain black line maybe a centimetre thick, with some text (I haven't made up my mind yet) in a modern, simple type font. Of course once I've started, I won't stop, and I'll probably end up like the Leopard Man of Skye .

The green fading tends to be caused by exposure to sunlight. Tattoos have to be taken care of, and when you see the black ink that's faded to green or blue, it's because the've not been taken care of--and the number one rule would be to keep them away from too much sunlight.

What's the point of having a tattoo if you can't show off ?sultan2075 wrote: The green fading tends to be caused by exposure to sunlight. Use a good sunscreen/sunblock. That should stop the black and other colours fading.Badlander wrote:What's the point of having a tattoo if you can't show off ?sultan2075 wrote: The green fading tends to be caused by exposure to sunlight.
