Ever had a paranormal experience?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Am asking because I've never had one, but would love to.

So has anyone seen a ghost?

I'd like to meet the devil, and stare him in the eyes....

The sea's kinda bendy down here, all the time. Think it's natural.

Hi Almiche V
I believe you are back from before my time but this is an interesting thread where I have a story....

Can a dream be regarded as a paranormal experience? If it can here goes....

A good few years ago my grandpa passed away. I had just got back to the Netherlands being from South Africa, when he passed on. I couldn't afford to make that journey back with regards to the cost, to attend his funeral. I thought I would be okay with it as we had said our goodbyes before I had left, the old man had suffered along with cancer for many, many a year. I had also asked him as a child to please come back and tell me he was "safe" when passed. Years past and after the birth of my son, in a dream, my husband was driving a car, me sitting next to him and grandpa behind me as a passenger. My grandpa spoke to me in the voice I remember to be his and he helped us by giving directions. That part of the dream is as clear as if it happened yesterday and he told me we were going the right way. So within a dream I spoke to a very friendly ghost and it was an experience that I will never forget.

My grandmother or "Nanna" I have asked to do the same for me and she has said she will. I suppose if you are open to that kind of thing anything is possible.

Other "ghosts" I have only seen when on LSD so who knows....

Sober I have once felt that "ghosts" are present. Nothing weird or wonderful happened although it can be random.

If you want to meet the devil you would have to believe in him to do it, or would it merely be a reflection of an inner self?

Not one I could explain (is this not the definition of a paranormal experience? ) but I’m always aware of things that are happening in my life that are connected.
I think most people have the same experiences but not everyone takes time to see why these connections are there.
Sometimes I get the feeling I have to know or do something although I don’t know what until its to late.
To answer your question, No nothing spectacular but I see the effect of some things that others wouldn’t notice.

I get lots of déja vus if that counts. Not as many as when I was a kid, but still some.

Seriously,I have had s**t loads of "paranormal" expieriences.
I worked in a "haunted" school for 5 years.
Had a mad Ouija session in a crematorium.
Have been "visited" by my dead father.
And loads of other stuff which I'd go into but I'm the world's slowest typer and it would take me all day.
Suprising then, that I don't believe in life after death. Its all in the mind.
The photographs of God I bought have almost faded away
