THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. Serious: I really do like this song. It's just kind of a joke and I think it's a nice one. I don't regard it as one of the best covers but it's a good listen every now and then. :wink:

I bought TOL '92 as I loved the song but knew nothing about the Sisters. I loved the other 3 tracks on the CD and thought well if I like these "B side" tracks then I'll probably like their other stuff. A couple of months later I passed my driving test and treated myself to Floodland and Vision Thing. 8)

Yeah I've read all the posts about smoke so as it's my first Sisters gig I won't expect to see too much but as long as I hear the songs and get a brief glimpse of :von: I'll be happy.
