Evening.
Courtesy of Jamie I'm finally residing on-planet. Yo. And lo and behold, I'm suddenly well looking forward to the gig. Currently listening to Chicago 91, reminds me nicely of the Sisters live power, not to mention 's (past) ability to cover a fcuk-up. Brilliant performance, full of That Which Is The Sisters. Here's to more on Wednesday. Having expected so little, I now wouldn't be surprised in the least if they blow the house down. See you Wednesday birls and goys, can't fookin' wait.

I might not be going now. Been floored with the mother of all colds for the past couple of days, and feeling more than a little under the weather. The last place I want to be right now is in the middle of a sweaty moshpit.
I'll see if I improve any before Wednesday. Certainly hope so

London-Leeds train tickets now booked (two single tickets are amazingly much cheaper than a return), I'll be arriving in Leeds about half one on Wednesday afternoon with tales (and photos) of the London gig.

We may yet find you a sofa or at least a blow-up bed mate. Like Claire said, it's a pretty cold place in the small hours, the old TechnoGarage.lazarus corporation wrote:On the floor of Planet Dave's very own TechnoGarageJames Blast wrote:@ Paul where you staying?

Paul, are you sure it's OK to take a camera in at the London venue?lazarus corporation wrote:with tales (and photos) of the London gig.
I've got a real camera (of course, not professional but not a moble phone) and I'm very serious.
finally I'd like to take photos of something more decent than Berlin toilets (see my current avatar)

I rang the Astoria a couple of months ago and they confirmed it was OK. So long as you've not got a telephoto lens on it I think you'll be OK.pikkrong wrote:Paul, are you sure it's OK to take a camera in at the London venue?lazarus corporation wrote:with tales (and photos) of the London gig.

Your choice Paul, could be the best offer you'll get, unless Tim is wearing those boots. Dave, haven't you forgotten Mr. Skellington?
Actually, now that I think of it - you own a bouncy (in essence, blow-up) castle, a blow-up Jack Skellington - am I detecting a theme devloping here?

Haha, you can kip on Mr Skellington if you like Claire, you old goth. Though you may have to blow him up first. I hope you've got the lung-capacity.boudicca wrote:*BAD AND WRONG mental image!*Planet Dave wrote:Your choice Paul, could be the best offer you'll get, unless Tim is wearing those boots.lazarus corporation wrote:I'll pass on the blow-up bedmate.

And fwiw, the castle was hired. I've some ace pics of the kids looking horrified and ready to kill when the man came to take it away.
But yeah, draw yer own conclusions girl. I wouldn't sexually-discriminate against anything wearing Tim's boots.

Although really, it's kind of like hiding in a cupboard and shouting "I'm in HE-EERE!"

Sounds good Barry. Fingers crossed mate.
To all (Laz, Hom, Lee, anyone else) heading to mine tomorrow afternoon, please try and get here after 3.30, as I'll be out til then. If you're early, you can have a nice sit down in the front garden for a bit.
See you all tomoz.
