* Media Alert * Sisters on BBC Radio 6 4th May...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

What is it likely to be?
A Peel session?

They've already done both, haven't they? And there was no "in concert".

The Jensen session?

Are we finally gonna get a high quality "Jolene"?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Does anyone have all of the Peel sessions recorded from these digital broadcasts?

And also how would the Kid Jensen sessions ever be re-broadcast? I am assuming that they are in the Capital Radio (IIRC) archives. Will they ever see the light of day?

I am only asking because the digital radio session version of GoodThings that JansenClone kindly shared is brilliant - more like listening to a new song. I want the rest!

I've got all the Peel Sessions recorded from these digital broadcasts:

(September 82)

Good Things
1969
Alice
Floorshow

(July 84)

Walk Away
Emma
No Time To Cry
Poison Door

The latter of these two has been broadcast twice already, though I wouldn't mind the first one again. Floorshow was slightly damaged in broadcasting and linked to Alice anyway...

I emailed the show about the change, this is the reply I received:

"Sorry - last minute change as the tape box was empty in the BBC library. Hope The m*****n isn't too much of a disappointment "

So someone appears to have half-inched the session! C'mon, now, hands up, who was it?! I bet it's them there bootleggers at it again...

Someone at the BBC needs their tongue firmly removed from inside their cheek this morning.
