I voted for Summer, but it's tricky.
Although I must say I'm not a huge fan of We Are The Same, Susanne.

Crash & Burn.
The rest all come joint 2nd as I love them all. (Romeo Down possibly just peeping out as 2nd on its own, possibly...)

I voted for 'Slept'. I simply can't get that song out of my head at the moment. And I just love the lyrics.

difficult question, really My first reaction was Suzanne... Loved that from the first time I heard it and still do.
But it doesn't surprise me the way War on Drugs does. That one is so rough, so industrial, sooo groovy... I'd love to hear it again live, coz it has been a while.
I kinda dig Slept too. It always makes me laugh and it's easy to overlook it for that reason, but it has special qualities. I love the sound of it & I love the way Andrew sings it. In Lokeren last year they played such a thrilling version of this song and blew me away. In Brussels 2 weeks ago it didn't make an impression at all... hmm
To pick one isn't an easy thing to do, my favourite new song changes from time to time...
This very moment, I choose War on Drugs Thank you very much

When the topic first started I voted for Suzanne but now I've played it to death I think maybe Summer is better?

I was just about to ask where it was in the list
Still it would be right now, but that's mainly cos it's new and fresh and exciting and different and stuff.
Mainly stuff, actually.
But I s'pose it's only a matter of time before I get tired of it and start going "waaaaah! I want an ALBUM!!!"

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
It is there. At first go, it seems like it has to be tacked onto the end, thus ending he alphabetical arrangement.Obviousman wrote:robertzombie wrote:I guess you might as well add Still as well

Summer is #1, Crash+Burn a VERRRRY close 2nd. Slept has got to be last... just doesn't do much for me.

Although some of the newies have their moments; for me it has to be "Romeo Down"... simply becuase of the Bass; one of the best basslines ever written. It's bloody monstrous. I't majestic. It's cold and steely etc.... I quite like it. I don't really need any other part of the song; just give me the bass. Thanks.
"You've a pretty good command of English, for a vole..."
We are the same susanne is the best new song for me ...
Andrew's voice at the end is so emotional ...
I love that song,,,
They should make a single of it,,, it could work well...
GIVE IT A NAME SUSANNE

As Christophe said I'm sure this has been done before but I went for Crash & Burn - it's really grown on me since becoming the opener.
Last time I opted for Susanne. Also love Summer and Still sounds like it could be a real grower.
War On Drugs is pure cabaret so that deserves a mention too.
Fcuk it - they're all good (apart from Romeo Down)
