From which gig is that Something Fast crispy live version...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Now, it might be new to me and old to all you here... But from which take is for christ sake that crispy live version of Something Fast on that so called http://www.myspace.com/thesistersofmercy2006 page?

I dunno... It sounds so crystal clear i doubt if it's new (ooops, sorry). And it's even in tune... The bass sounds live, not from a machine.

which fascinates me something more than that new song...

Who the hell recorded it (it's in stereo)?!

It's from the When You Don't See Me single. One of the Hamburg 1990 gigs.

Live Hamburg - Dock's, 17 November 1990.

It's an official recording.

I just hope that the whole gig turns up one fine day in this quality.. :)

You should hear the version of Ribbons that comes with the single. If you thought SF was good... this one will make you say "yahoo" 23 times!!!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Very good. I wonder how many others will work it out though?
