Eva HAS to go to Brazil!
But she can't cos she's skint and worried about her personal safety. I've already made all the obvious suggestions, but it's not so much about getting her out there as her being with enough people she feels safe with once she's there. She has been following the Sisters around for two months, it will be such a shame if she doesn't make the final two dates. I have run out of suggestions. Help!
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I think Eva + Andrew S need sedated and taken into a white van on stretchers, driven to a dark place and left for about two weeks... just my take on things

Surely so. After they are back from Brazil. And moreover, after showing so much devotion to the band, they have to get bandmember H.C. in some way.James Blast wrote:I think Eva + Andrew S need sedated and taken into a white van on stretchers, driven to a dark place and left for about two weeks... just my take on things
Something like Dr H.C. Avalanch?

I don't think so. She knows most of the people from there so wouldn't be so concerned if they were.Motz wrote:I take it Andrew's going too? I'm sure there'll be at least a few people from the other place going...

I wouldn't mess with a 6 foot tall Swiss lady who had an Osama Bin Laden lookey-likey by her side.
And I didn't! I was right behind her at the Glasgow gig and kept getting pushed into her by the folk behind us... when I apologised afterwards for "squashing" her she said "You couldn't squash me! You wish!"

I talked to her in Luxembourg, and it appears the safety issue is very serious indeed. She was advised never to be alone in the streets, etc. I certainly wouldn't tell her to go if that means putting her own safety at risk.
I'd end this moment to be with you

Don't worry. I don't think anything would persuade her to go if the safety issue isn't resolved.Badlander wrote:I certainly wouldn't tell her to go if that means putting her own safety at risk.

Well, I don't know what to add, but indeed, Eva has to go
I'll tell everyone to persuade her tomorrow

Well, I'm sure she'll find out anyhow, but we Belgians can be very persuading, so

I don't think swapping a couple of emails with a complete stranger is gonna make her feel any more secure.paint it black wrote:totally mad idea, make contact with the Brazilian's on list

a) they might have local knowlege on hotels etc
b) they might meet up with, and escort her around
c) is better than just putting some random question out in a UK based forum and expecting a coherent answer. ummm. man milk for example. dunno why i bother and with that, he was gone

Get packing, Francis
As Eva is well aware, I'd be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Yeaaaaah, I know that's but one side of the story. But a very disturbing one indeed.

One of the finest movies ever... By the way, I just asked today one of my -Brazilian descendent - students about that country. She recommended me to travel with someone who was born and raised there, so I guess my chances of going to Brazil (like Motörhead) in a few weeks are zero. She said someone tried to kidnap her father during their last visit.Badlander wrote:

You are very very bad people and you must be punished
