Metal Hammer Interview

Post your reviews of Sisters-related material or interviews with Sisters-related musicians here. And don't believe the hype: 1985 most definitely is a fashion statement.

There is a short (in more than one sense of the word) interview with
Eldritch in the April edition of Metal Hammer.
Typically uninformative, it showcases his wit, complete contempt for the British music press, and boredom at being asked the same questions.
When asked what he's been doing since Vision Thing the reply was,

"Nice of you to care about that. The first lass was French. Then came two Germans, one Canadian and a girl from Detroit. All of them were lovely, but I wasn't actually 'doing' them. They did me. "

And that's the start of the interview! It's all downhill from there.
Although he does manage to imply Paul McCartney is a dildo...

Not worth £3.30 of my money or anybody else's for that matter.
At the risk of infringing copyright I'll post the full interview here for anyone that's interested.

In the UK at least, I think it would be better if Adam or Chris handled
the interview duties.

That kind of contempt towards the press will cost him dearly in the future and it doesn't help him to get that big amount he wants for another record.

Five chicks in 12 years. Or four if you discount the canadian lass, giving an average of one every three years. No wonder the poor boy has been under producing. He hasn't been sowing enough wild oats.

So thumbs up Panty Andy on the cultural variety (Canada excepted), but now let's focus on the quantity, ok. If I'm not too busy myself at the London gig I'll see what I can do for you.

In fear of opening a "Can of Worms" what is wrong with anything or anyone "Canadian" - just wondering?

he didn't mention all the Berlin girls,
maybe he couldn't count them.
and that (I mean the Berlin girls) explains what has he done all the years instead of producing new songs ;D

I'm off down to London tomorrow to see the first gig at the Forum but when I return I'll post the full transcript and probably a review of the gig.

Finally I got this issue (the last metal Hammer I have is more than 10 years old) - the interview is really brief.
But I like this:
"Do Rammstein manage to get a good song out of a dildo? I s'pose John Lennon managed to get a couple of good songs out of Paul McCartney..."
