U.K. Eurovision entry

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Damn straight.
Just make sure that you're seriously pissed before you even switch on the telly: et voila: fun for the whole family.
I, for one, am really looking forward to this. :)

The vocals are always performed live (although I guess there maybe the occasional exception).

The best part of the show is Terry Wogan's comments. I seem to remember one year the BBC wouldn't let him commentate (saying his mocking was inappropriate) and got someone else to do it. The ratings were really bad and they were deluged with complaints so he's been there ever since.

I love listening to him getting progressively drunk throughout the programme and trying to control his urge to say things that would get the Beeb's lawyers in a lot of hot water...

Eurovision seems to be one of those things that Europeans are perversely happy with, if only for the pain it inflicts on them. But, at least it's an entirely European form of pain!

Also, Finland's version of Gwar has GOT to win.
If this is heaven I'm bailin' out.

I'm really pleased I don't own a television. At least it's funny, I guess, unlike most of the other s**t on there.

I have to admit a liking for them once upon a time. I thought Ebeneezer was quite naughty then.
