The Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyd

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thought the thread was going to be about this lot :(

Seen them 4 times now, absolutely stunning :notworthy:

And the movie isn't bad either...pretty colours and pretty sounds...I'm too tired to critique or contemplate the conspiracy

I'd rather just listen to the movie without the music, thanks.
If this is heaven I'm bailin' out.

It's been proven that the observed correlation between Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wizard Of Oz depends on the observer's consumption of cannabinoids...

On a BBC Radio 2 "making of Dark Side Of The Moon" someone sent me a CD of (:notworthy: ;)) The Pink Floyd have quite a giggle about the rumour, and say they thought about trying to start other similar ones. "Meddle matches up with Casablanca"

I can't remember what film they actually said off the top of my head though

I downloaded a synched version of this a while ago but haven't ever watched it, probably due to the lack of cannabinoids in my system at the present time.

It's a load of tosh. I'm sure you could sync up Citizen Kane or Once Upon A Time In The West with Debbie Gibson's Greatest Hits if you tried hard enough.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
