Finland Eurovision Entry!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Has anybody heard it yet, or seen the video? This has to be the single most surreal occurance of the year.

I for one shall be staying in that night!

And there's more. The drummer has a snout! A snout, I ask ya!

Well worth a tenner down the bookies.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Do you think there will be a spate of church burning if they don't win?

They will not win, they should, but they wont - which is a shame.

I am already cringing at Terry "Dodgy Hairpeice" Wogans 'aserbic' comments. Is it OK with all of you for me to really hate that man?

Well, judging by scandinavian standards this is softpop. No "Hail Satan", No grunting, growling, nothing about trolls eating men or vice versa..
:notworthy: to the fins for sending them to the Grand Prix!

Lordi HAVE to win. I mean, they're songs pretty rubbish really, but it's FUN rubbish. Unlike most of the rest of the drek there. I think they'd do better though if they'd chosen "Could you love a monsterman".... (yes, I'm ashamed to say I already know of Lordi!!)

I just heard Lordi on 6music thanks to the godlike Gideon Coe :notworthy: singing a song called "we put the balls back into rock" or something similar. They sound a bit like Kiss to me.

Get's my vote. (Un)fortunately I wont be watching this year's Eurovision, unless they have it on in the Dry Dock :innocent:

OK then, for better or worse we (myself and a few friends) have 65 quid on them for a win.

The bookie looked at me like I had 2 heads, and made me repeat and write down everything, just to be sure I knew what I was doing

Heeeeere we go!

Just watching them on bbc3 now in the Eurovision semifinal show. Absolutely fantastic, in a cheesy eurovision black metal style

Lithuania could be worth a tenner to win though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9qrO92x ... =2&t=t&f=b
Definately tongue in cheek :)

Feck Lordi!

"We are the winners" is better!

All it needs is Nivek Ogre braying "miles cable claw, driller killer ripping holes etc" over that beat, and it is Skinny Puppy!

sorry I went for Lithuania in the end. I've always had a soft spot for the protest song

Lordi and the Lithuania boys are through, where's the bookies :!: :D
