Why no come together/war on drugs on latest setlists?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

... for me personally i quite liked come together
(compared to Romeo down far better), and therefore
I dont understand, why its not on silver bullet 2006
setlists. the same for war on drugs.
Whats the reason, that these songs are not on latest
sets? Whats your opinion?

Because Mister Whammy left the band and :von: doesn't want to play these songs anymore.
Waitaminnit... Herr Pearson didn't write Come together. Then... because.

Just giving them a rest. Both songs tend to drop in and out, and have done so for years.

I love both as well, but to be totally honest they're out of keeping with the current style, and will probably end up as B sides (assuming there is ever such a thing as an A side again, that is).
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Well you're right !
I kinda thought that :von: wanted to get rid of all the songs he hadn't written himself, hence no Hussey song, no or few Marx song (FALAA, Logic, SKOS), no cover, etc.
But it doesn't make any sense : Anaconda (Marx) is played at every gig whereas Body Electric (Von) isn't played anymore.
So... because. :von:
