That's funny, I was checking out the man's head too. I don't see why dying his hair would be anything new to him-I read his natural color is blonde of all things. Or at least as a kid it was. He's quoted as saying that the whole glasses thing is in effect to keep his private life private. Something of that nature. I think he's seriously a shy person and not the arrogant prick people want him to be. Shyness has caused quite a few people to view me as snotty at various times of my life. I think the whole "he just breezed past me" thing is coming from being uncomfortable among strangers or out in public in general. I certainly can relate to that. And I think this "emoticon" is hilarious so I'm gonna use it.

It certainly seems as if he's probably not as confident as the persona he projects - hence the camouflage. Overcompensation being the order of the day, and him being considerably more intelligent and better-read than your average doorknob, it's hardly surprising that he's perceived as arrogant.

And it's true, that pouty little imp is just too silly...

The best photo of Von without shades is him looking at the pretty blonde that I sent into HL sometime back. I've been told photo taken in Hamburg.

Mrs Richey James you looked lovely in the photo. The little fella next to you in the photo should've kept his shades on.

Not a good pic of :von:

Sorry.

Here's proof that I wasn't getting paranoid when I wrote that there existed such a photo. As for who looked better on it, it's a guestion of personal taste I guess. :)

The answers that gave Von himself to this are in the interview for www.avopolis.gr in the section Interviews of the forum [Part B]

Q-why do you wear sunglasses all the time?
A-I startto wear them at the first live of the Sisters because lights that came from below were blinding and after that i adopt them because i am afraid peoples like this one! (and he points at the photographer!!!) And when i have to go to the supermarket i take them off and nobody recognizes me, thing that is mostly nice. Most pop stars are not afraid of photographers but when they have to go to a supermarket they are forced to wear sunglasses and then everybody says: "Hey, there is a pop star with sunglasses over there!"

Q-Is there a deeper philosophy behind all this smoke, dark and sunglasses?
A-Not particular. Just our origins become from the school of Hawkwind and Pink Floyd in what matters scenic appearance, there where you create your own private "battle" environment.
