Bummer!
Definitely a nice chap, would have loved to have met him for a beer and a chat!

This is very upsetting news indeed. From reading these messages he sounded like a very kind and genuine man. Thoughts and condolences go out to the friends he has left behind but especially to his wife and children. It was very good of you to organise some flowers so quickly Zuma, if we can contribute in any way then please let us know. Long may you rest in peace Christian.
I came here for the usual no busisiness at all and now read this..
Yes, I too think he was a great person. We may be sorry for not having a chance to meet him again, but I think of his family, what they are going through. Now and in the future, I know what is comming towards them.
They will need his old friends.
That was decades to early.

Utterly devastating news. My (and indeed everyone's) thoughts are with his family. Your memory will indeed live on, here as much as anywhere.
Dave - beautiful message with the flowers. I can't help with money at this very moment, but if there's a collection or something at the July meet then I'll gladly contribute.
Farewell Christian. Say hi to my Grandparents for me.

I have my Blackthorn. It's nearly half-empty but I've not forgotten. *raises can*
To doc P, keep the barstools warm, we'll be up there with you some day, you great man.
Shrunk in case people don't care.
I don't know if this is the right thread or not to post on, but it should be. I recently bought some runes, and although there are many who'd say I'm just fooling myself with symbols on wood, I felt I wanted to just cast 5 to ask what will happen regarding doc P.
I got the following ones: "Disruption, Power, Gain, Gift, Happiness". I'm going to interpret that as that things will start to improve for those affected. And I think that started by the Heartland flowers. You people treat everyone wonderfully, even our fallen comrades. Best community ever?

R.I.P, Doc P. My condolences to his family.
I just find it really difficult to believe it. I loved Christian to bits, only met him twice but he was the one who made my birthday special this year...He was special - kind, funny and generally very nice person and I will miss him... I'm really really sad.
GoodBye Christian....

A truly saddening situation.
No words can truly comfort.
But let our actions speak of the man that was.
Today and for the rest of the summer reach out in kindness
and understanding to your fellow man. It seems that this was
an action of Doc P and one that I am sure he would like
us all to carry on.

May his family have the strength to cope through such a loss.
Christian will be missed around here. He seemed to be a positive person. I do not recall him ever being anything but friendly to his fellow HLers.
Not really the news one wants to read when logging on to escape the real world.

I didn't know the man, and I don't have any fine words of wisdom.

I didn't know him either. It's really sad when someone goes at such an age. Sounds like a really nice bloke and one who's really missed by you all.smiscandlon wrote:I didn't know the man, and I don't have any fine words of wisdom.
