F**Kin Hell................
I wanted to film Notts cos it's my home town.......I've filmed The Mish & New Model Army there with both bands permission...........
I couldn't contact The Sisters through their site so didn't even try to get my cam-corder into City......Wasn't even searched going in the door so could quite easily have !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now we get some-one who probably isn't even a Sisters fan trying to make a fast Buck out of us genuine fans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a bummer !!!!!!!!
What say we soften this sellers cough by reporting them to E-Bay as a copyright infringement..............That would really put them in their place wouldn't it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a member of E-Bay so I wouldn't mind doing it if ppl wanted me to.....

Having said that......I'd love a copy of it, what a TOP NITE OUT it was....The best of the three gigs I did (Leeds, Manchester & Notts).....

PS
If anyone wants a copy of the NMA DVD I filmed last December they can have one....( I know this isn't the site for offering it but What the Heck)......We might even start a weeding section on Non SISTERS Weeds  Would that be acceptable ?????????

Keep Smiling (or whatever it is us Goths are supposed to do......)

So it has been sold. Those who bid on it, are able to purchase it as a 2nd chance option for what they said was their maximum bid...

Well what do you know, this has resurfaced, and it is the original seller. I think I may stick a small bid in to see if I get a 'second chance' to buy. :)

I think it was "Master8" Who recorded this, the same person who recorded the London Astoria Gigs from 2001 & 2003.
Ive purchased stuff from him in the past....

So did I, but I only put a maximum of £9.99, though it looks like you outbid me with your maximum of £15.

Doesn't quite work as "The Sistegs Of Megcy" though does it?

No...
It's THE*SISTEΓS*OF*MEΓCY*

You must have in mind that Γ doesn't sound like G ....
The fact is that it sounds close likely to R with heavy french accent

Btw G is similar to ΓΓ (γγ) or ΓΚ (γκ) if you see any text in greek :)

;D OK, I'm going off the tiny bit of classical Greek I remember from school, not modern Greek.

Is it like the G sound in Dutch?

I think the technical phonological term is "voiced back aspirant".

I'll have to look back into my beginners (modern) Greek course, though I don't remember many things as being close to Dutch, to be honest

It's somewhat softer in sound, IIRC, like the Limburg G, if you're familiar with dialects in Dutch :P

The Heartland effect strikes again. From a DVD on ebay to pronunciation guides in 40-something posts

Sorry to put this back on topic, but thought I'd have a quick check on the price, up to £39.

Sorry to derail back again, but whilst walking the dog with the hot sun burning me and Greek Chewing gums in my mouth it occured to me the closest thing you have in English is the G from glove. Deform it a little towards an H and I think you're there...

sorry for the continously abuse of this topic, but only one question ... :notworthy:
Was it something similar phonetic to w when we use it in words like "What" or "Work" or "Water" but cut out the first letter sharply??
