Im pretty sure this photo was from the Festival (Lorelei?) where they announced the Vision Thing tour dates in summer '90. The band (I think minus Tim Bricheno) appeared on stage just prior to the Nephilim performance.

Many people wear rings on their wedding finger without being married. I think he just wore it to wind us up... even though we didn't exist back then... if you know what I mean.

i know this is waaaaaaay too obvious, but the 'real' sisters of mercy wear wedding rings and they aren't married.

since about forever i just kinda assumed the ring and the cross that he used to wear were a joke on that.
