The Mumbles make a video

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Not bad. Might be an idea to decide if you're being silly or serious though. Mixing the two is a very fine art ;)

Sound quality's pretty good, and the timing's getting better. It could do with some Steinmann-esque "wall of sound" compression though and perhaps some EQ to stop your vocals from being swamped.

OK, thanks for the comments :)

Yeh, we were just messing around but it turned out "ok."

The next one should be serious...

Nice enough effort, and I really like the tongue-in-cheek way you guys behave in the video ;)

Song is also rather good, tho a bit long maybe, and somewhere you are losing the sync (again), but I like it anyway.

Still mildly impressed by the voice, you have a nice-sounding voice, use it any way you can ;D

I'm with Izzy on this the voice is what gets the high marks.
It was also DarkAngels first comment when she watched the vid.

I would like to hear a real quality recording of your vocals. 8)

The rest of it though.... :innocent:

I like The Mumbles.

A lot.

Nice to see that the new-found discovery of "sound quality" hasn't damaged their style, too.

Plus, :notworthy: for:
James, let's make a video.

Sorted.

Rarrrrrrr!

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

You've got to admit, Mr B, just those lines make the entire video worthwhile.

EDIT: The song version should start with "James? Let's make a song/single/album."

I'm sorry but I couldn't watch all of it; I kept cringing.

edit: the music was fine, it was the, er, imagery.
