What's The Best Sisters' Bargain You've Bought?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

For me it was either of the following:

A mint condidtion LP of Gift, for £3.50 in an Oxfam shop a couple of years ago.

Or possibly this bundle for £75 from a shop in Adlershot:

Body Electric (slightly tatty sleeve)

Walk Away 12" Promo (in WEA sleeve)

This Corrosion 12" DJ Promo with carrier bag

This Corrosion 7" Boxed Set

Dominion 12" Boxed Set
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

I bought a collection once (about 20 Sisters records for 25 Euro). It consisted of most of the 12"s, the This Corrosion 7" box, a few bootlegs and three copies of Floodland...
It filled a few gaps in my collection, sold the rest and actually made money with it  The pleasures of collecting records of a band with a glorious past :innocent:

About 25 bootleg tapes for free.

ARAAHP BudKon flexi for about a tenner.. whether that's a bargain or a ripoff is subjective. ;)

Nice find. Even better that yer made money back with a profit. :notworthy: :notworthy:

As for the "glorious past". I agree. I was going to both the Leeds and Manchester gigs, but after the Leeds gig my impression was...they've stagnated and so I didn't bother with the Manchester gig. Not that the Leeds gig was a bad gig, it was "business as usual." I won't be going to another Sisters gig for a few years, or unless there's a new album out.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

Never been lucky enough to get a genuine Sisters bargain, most of my stuff came in regular priced. A record shop did give me 4 quid once to take a copy of "What's THIS For...!" off them, but that doesn't count.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Do you mean BBC 6 in 2003? Can't remember any interviews given in 2005 or 2004.
