The best on the Bass ever?.
1 - Jah Wobble.
2 - Stuart Morrow.
3 - Peter Hook.
4 . John Entwistle.
Arguments please.

Sounds pretty bang on to me.Wobble's work on the first couple of PIL albums is f**king staggering, especially as he was a novice at the time. And the man just got better, love that Dub bass style.
Perhaps I would add JJ Burnell, Tony Petit and Craig Adams to the list.

Peter Hook. I like his style of playing best, as a main instrument and I am of course a great Joy Division / New Order fan. I really like Wobble's playing with P.I.L., especially Public Image, but I'm not familair with his solo work.

Hooky or Wobble
Feck!
Hooky admit's he still doesn't know what note he is playing in and Wobble also did the bass on The Orb's - The Blue Room and Primal Scream's - Higher than the Sun (Dub Symphony in 2 parts)
I can't choose!
