New NFD Album

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I'm not adverse to a bit of grunge myself, but I just didn't think it suited The ex-neph boys style at all,it lacked any of the intensity of The neph."Rivers" and "watch without pain" are about the only Rubicon tunes that I can give a listen too.
Actually I thought the mid 90's were a splendid time for music, unless you were a rock/goth fan of course,in which case it was totally devoid of anything interesting at all.Techno ruled and I loved it.Exciting times only equalled by late 70's punk and mid 80's goth IMO.

Bugger!Just listened to NFD-Dead pool rising

Twice.

Its fan-f**king-tastic.Knocks the tits off "No love lost".
They overcook the metal at times, but McCoy overcooks the atmospherics on "Mourning sun".
The tracks "Rise","Senseless" and "Dead pool" are pure Elizium era Fields of the nephilim.

Brilliant!Might even be better than "Mourning sun".Ask me in a month or two.

A lot better than "Mourning Sun" IMO, with perhaps the exception of "New Gold Dawn".
