Jah Wobble, is there better?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The best on the Bass ever?.

1 - Jah Wobble.

2 - Stuart Morrow.

3 - Peter Hook.

4 . John Entwistle.

Arguments please.

Sounds pretty bang on to me.Wobble's work on the first couple of PIL albums is f**king staggering, especially as he was a novice at the time. And the man just got better, love that Dub bass style.

Perhaps I would add JJ Burnell, Tony Petit and Craig Adams to the list.

Peter Hook. I like his style of playing best, as a main instrument and I am of course a great Joy Division / New Order fan. I really like Wobble's playing with P.I.L., especially Public Image, but I'm not familair with his solo work.

John Wetton - Family/King Crimson/Roxy Music/Uriah Heep/UK
Chris Squire - The Yes
Greg Lake - the L bit in EP
Lemmy - Hawkwind/Motorheid
Paul Barker - Ministry/RevCo etc.

Hooky or Wobble :?:

Feck! :|

Hooky admit's he still doesn't know what note he is playing in and Wobble also did the bass on The Orb's - The Blue Room 8) and Primal Scream's - Higher than the Sun (Dub Symphony in 2 parts) 8)

Saw Jah Wobble in a club in London circa 1983. Put me to sleep. That geezer from Muse is pretty impressive. Oh yes, and this fella.
