Ah'll Si Thee

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Damn that's sad news! Strangely, I was thinking about him last night. Strange cos I know nothing about and have no interest at all in cricket, but I did find Trueman's stories extremelhy entertaining. I'll be really pissed off when Harvey Smith pops it as well.

I played cricket the other week against a Freddy acolyte, oldish trundler of slow-medium pace, every ball bang on the money, didn't get me out (indeed he got rather upset at me swatting him all over the park) but did get 7 wickets, and wore tatty trousers with tatty shirt unbuttoned from around the bellybutton up! :notworthy: , and was as yoikshire as you can get. Ace bloke, I thought immediately of him when I heard the sad news yesterday.

RIP Freddie. You've done your bit for the human race, thank you. :notworthy:

So do his Ashes get scattered at sea or do two teams play for them?

My favorite Fred Story...........

Fred delivered a ball which the batsman managed to get an edge on, sending an easy catch towards a waiting fielder. The fielder un-explainably let this easy catch go through his legs. Embarrassed the fielder apologised.

"Sorry Fred I should have kept my legs closed".

"Aye, replied Fred, and so should your mother".
