Probably to do with me a water symbol - I'm Cancer in western zodiac and a water dragon in the Chinese zodiac.. I also found that the Octopus is symbolic of creative force in ancient symbology, which is kind of cool.. though in certain Red Indian mythology, the Octopus is a servant of the underworld.. :eek:

lol.. nah that weren't sunburn.. that was me neck literally 30 seconds after the tattoo was finished! Felt like I'd been properly scoured for two hours I tell thee!

As a staunch ally in the Cthulhu Battlefront meself, I think your Octopussy is way too cute to take over the world.

A radioactive Cthulhu was waaaaay better ;D

As an aside, beware of the sunburn, anyways.

I think it is a rather ermmmmmm unwise idea to place a neck-tattoo in the middle of the summer. Always keep it covered when the sun's shining, and don't go a-swimming in either salt water or swimming pools.

I know from experience. Unless you find it's cool to have your octopussy come out in relief from time to time... ;)

Anyway, congrats on the tattoo, not my personal choice of design, but it's CUTE! :notworthy:

lol.. nah, I did kind of think about that, but it's just somewhere where I think its a bit more noticeable as such..

And there's always mirrors.. though I'm so used to shaving my head with one mirror I didn't know what to do when given one to look at it yesterday at the tattoo parlour.. :lol:
