Can I just state that, IMO Sympathy for the Devil is one of the worst songs I hear regularly?
What's all that drugged-up 70s junkie celeb "Whoo hooing" all about?
It stinks, that tune smells bad and looks awkward.
I hear no redeeming features.

goodmorning all,
hope i didn't keep you from sleeping with all these questions unanswered
To start with the dogs : the smallest one is a jack russel female which will be 2 end of august. she's the kids and my wife's favourite. Her name is spice. The bigger one is a crossbreeding of a labrador and new foundlander which I got in the asylyum last year september (as my first dog died in july after 15 years). He's quite tall (well i'm 1.94 m myself so ...). He'll be also 2 in september and was named : rocky. didn't want to change the name since it suited him. In case someone is interested the kids names are matisse (6 in august) and vincent (11 in august)
the guitars.... I bougth my first in june 2004, started taking lessons in september. It was a cheap guitar (harley benton HX5BTK) with a nice sound. She was called "black lady". Xmas 2005 I got myself a handmade candian guitar from Simon and Patric lutherie with a natural colour and ligth satin finish. Ever so beuatifull and an astonishing sound. The more you play, the better she gets. She's called "desertrose" My oldest son is now taking care of the blacklady.
so far my morningstory

ah, you're from Rotselaar!
I passed there yesterday and I must say it looked rather nice
It seems to be a good place to live and also perfect for long walks with the dogs...

Yeah, you got that right. twas Werchter classic yesterday afternoon. I wanted to see Roxy Music & The Simple Minds, but it's a long story how that came about... And I got in fi free I left right after that (around 6)because I couldn't be seen at a Bryan Adams gig And it was soooo overcrowded there...stefanmoermans wrote: if you passed here yesterday it probably means you were at werchter classic did you know wercheter is a part of rotselar

Last week I did the 'regular' Werchter thing on thursday. I had a good time, but didn't see very impressive shows (except John Frusciante's solo version of How deep is your love).
I'm living in Antwerp, for now. Not really nearby. Then again, there are no huge distances inna Belgium, are there?!
Maybe we could have a Heartland-BBQ in your garden?

I can remember back to when Roxy Music and The Simple Minds (sic) were cutting edge, so no mocking. Bryan Adams, on the other hand, goes without saying...

The lyrics, man. I'll concede the daft 'woo-hooing', as best patronised by Von at the end of Detonation Boulevard - but it's a well-written track! Good Story.James Blast wrote:Can I just state that, IMO Sympathy for the Devil is one of the worst songs I hear regularly?
