Train/Doctor Jeep

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Is Doctor Jeep sounds inspired by it the song Train. Has this ever been offically stated/explained by Von ?

The "New" Version Of Dr Jee live, have the same drum sound as Train had.
But Studio they have NO simularity at all, IMHO.

Try listening to Train but reading out the lyrics to Dr Jeep from the moment Von starts to sing the Lyrics for train.
Although the lyrics are unrelated they seem to fit into the flow of the song

(honest!)

There we go again... what's the deal with this... same bollocks as all these geeks that say Afterhours is inspired by Philip Glass mixed with Heino...

Of course train and dr jeep sound the same. Because, ehh, it's the same band with the same equipment not updated and non established since 1911.

I like to go to Istanbul, instead.
