Hunter- Gatherers

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I can't deny my stone-age origins and neither can you....
I would like to know what you good people from the Heartland are collecting (besides your Sisters stuff of course.  )

I make a start: :P

Monster figures (classic Movie Monsters like Godzilla, Creature from the Black Lagoon, King Kong etc etc)

Robots

Star Wars (used to, now trying to sell everything except the action figures and the space ships :P )

books about serial killers. (used to in my 20s  )

books about/from 60's icons.

Now it's your turn. :notworthy:

I've started to gather moss. Am I getting old?

Got a tiny thing for Lord Of The Rings gumph, but not in an serious sense, I'd be skint pretty quickly if I did. Though if I ever see a 1:1 scale Barad Dur, I don't care how much it costs, it's mine.

And I've a largeish collection of 2000AD's and Judge Dredd books. :von:

Let me see

Got loads of music, but I guess that's what is bringing us together around here, isn't it

Then I've got a couple of quite neat car scale models on display in my room, but I don't actively collect those anymore (though I'd fancy picking that up again)

Dust as well, obviously

Quite sure there's more, but can't come to think of it

Gah, don't start me. When I develop an interest in something it usually becomes obsessive/compulsive fairly quickly...

I have more books, CDs, DVDs than I know what to do with, but the main things that spring to mind are:

Hong Kong / martial arts DVDs and videos - must be running into hundreds.

Have a reasonable collections of autographs, mostly from my days as a rabid sci-fi fan (Star Trek, Babylon 5, Doctor Who etc.).

Never intended to be a 'collection', but I seem to have acquired about a dozen Homer Simpson mugs. I can't help it, I see one with a classic Homer quote on it and I have to get it!

Mmm, donuts...
